Movement Processing
Exercises that build muscle tone and strength, while reducing “seeking” behaviours. These exercises give children vestibular and proprioceptive input through specific movements of specifically the head and large muscle groups (also known as “heavy work” or “proprioceptive-vestibular” exercises). Proprioceptive exercises have also been shown to be effective at building motor skills, coordination, emotional regulation, and even alertness.
