Description
Dyspraxia and Developmental Coordination Disorder (DCD) presents with clumsiness and poor organization of belongings. These children (and adults, too) have difficulty planning and executing tasks effortlessly.
Your gut feeling may be that your child has some of these issues. Alternatively, your child may have received a diagnosis recently. You will need support and information to guide you on the road to assist your child. Dyspraxia and DCD are not precisely the same conditions. You should know about the subtle differences to support the child.
These conditions affect most areas of the child’s life, from coordinated movements to get out of the house in the morning! The challenges the child experiences become the frustrations of the parents and teachers as the child needs prompting, warnings and support when other children are independent.
Why Does it Work?
CoordiKids Starter Pack contains answers to your questions and concerns to help you identify your child’s individual needs. The e-books and articles will teach you more about the conditions, while the activity and exercise examples help identify your child’s strengths and weaknesses.
The Starter Pack provide essential tools to start your journey of support and help to improve your child’s skills. Parents and teachers educated in a child’s condition are crucial in the life of a struggling child. You will also gain knowledge and terminology to improve conversations with doctors and therapists.
On top of this, you will find activities, games and many ideas to support your child. A printable poster and journal will enhance the implementation of strategies. Lastly, an e-book, Stories of Hope, tells stories of successes in children of various ages after sensory-motor skills issues were addressed and solved. These are true stories from Marga’s consulting rooms.
